What an astonishing feat! One single young Japanese bear dog named Gin managed to lead a whole pack of mutts to take down the century's most notorious man slaughterer, the mighty red-backed bear Akakabuto. It was unheard of! Dog people all over the world had their jaws on the floor at the discovery. One dog took down the giant bear...
One dog everybody had to have...
Immediately after Gin's amazing victory, the story was all over the planet and in the hands of greedy hunters everywhere. They had to have the ultimate bear dog! However, Gin could not be caught. For year, the humans tried to get to him but his followers held fast, protecting their leader from harm and capture. So humans improvised...
Some of the ultimate bear dog's followers were taken instead, not to mention any blood relation they could find. As the stores grew thin, other people began taking relations to the other dogs in Gin's pack, children of John, Akame and Ben, among others. Whatever they could get their greedy hands on, the humans took back with them...
For Japan wasn't the only country with bears...
Now, these dogs have settled in North America, high up in northern Canada and parts of Alaska, hunting bear with their human hunters. One bear in particular is on everyone's kill list, a mighty Grizzly the Natives call Inteus, which means "has no shame". The bear has ransacked cabins, broken into homes, killed countless prized bear dogs and, worst of all, seems to eat humans regularly. Not just kill.. he physically eats them all, leaving only the clothes and bones...
Everyone wants him dead and these prized bear dogs from not only Japan, but other countries like Russia and Korea, are the key...
...or at least, they were...
The top dogs were just sent out to finally take Inteus down but a shocking surprise awaited them in the mountains. Just as everyone had desired, the bear was brought back dead but no one's gun was fired and not a single dog was bloodied. They'd found the massive grizzly already dead, its head totally torn off by a set of massive claws. There were only four marks, indicating only four claws were involved. It was no bear that had done this...
It was a cat...
The hunt is on now for this mystery beast powerful enough to behead the strongest more dangerous bear alive in one strike. but is this ultimate mountain lion too much for the bear dogs? Lions are faster and more stealthy than bears could ever be. Many dogs have already been picked off, snatched away in the night while sleeping outside, their heads left by the front door. Humans are beginning to disappear again and children awake in the night to terrible grunting and wheezing outside their windows. The ultimate bear dog is needed again...
... but can a bear dog take down a lion?
((Plot based off of the anime Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, with references to the sequel Ginga Densetsu Weed.))
