"Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot...."
The light-hearted, high-pitched almost childish voice of the human male could be heard down the main road as he and his faithful dog crunched their way along the dirt road. His heavy hunting boots made thick crunching noises as he went, his lithe little dog's paws making much quieter noises as he trotted beside him happily...
"Left foot, right foot... that's it Numa! Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot..."
He paused in his stupid song to bend down and rub the top of his dog's head, between the jindo's tall pointed ears. Numa yapped a happy response, leaning into his master's pat before the two returned to their goofy strut down the road coming to a stop in front of the gun shop where the blond human turned to his companion and pointed a finger in his two-toned face....
".. and stop. Sit!"
The dog sat obediently, his curled tail wiggling enthusiastically...
"Good. Now stay there while daddy goes to get a nice new rifle."
With that, the man turned and walked into the store proudly, leaving his jindo behind confused and staring after him with one spotted eyebrow raised. Unable to keep the strange thought from his mind, the young male cocked his head to the side, his cobalt gaze trailing off elsewhere...
"Daddy?"
The mere idea made him want to puke...

Emerald eyes watched the scene that lay before them. A small human child and his canine companion traveled down the main street of the small town. The human stopping outside of the local gun shop and leaving his friend outside while he purchased his weapon.
Cute...
Even though Vega wasn't very easy to trust humans, she did have a certain soft-spot in her for their children. So innocent and carefree, it was a shame that many of those children grew up into the stark, dull adults that seemed to endlessly wander this town. A smile appeared on the german shepherd's black lips as she watched the child and his dog from a safe distance across the street, chuckling slightly when the child proclaimed himself his dog's father.
Yes, it is a shame...
Carefree, spirited children sculpted into soulless and ignorant adults, she hoped deep down that the child she had just spied wouldn't turn out like so many of his human counterparts had. Watching as he dissapeared into the gun shop, her attention was now drawn on the child's dog, a red and white jindo who sat calmly outside the store, waiting for his young master's return.
Drawing her tall frame up off the pavement, the german chepherd female wandered over to the Jindo dog, taking a seat a couple feet away from him, not knowing whether the dog was friendly or not. She smiled at the small dog, "Kids, wonderful aren't they?" she spoke softly, trying not to intimidate the jindo but trying to start a conversation.

((Just so you know, Numa's master is 19 years old... which is still a "child" but not a young one...))
The jindo didn't really notice the shepherd behind him, still pondering the title his human had given himself. For some reason, the little dog found it troubling. Not troubling in that thoughtful, past experience sort of way, but troubling nonetheless. Troubling like your grandmother getting married again at 90 years old... disgusting troubling...
But the larger dog managed to draw attention to herself by speaking, the cobalt gaze of the little brute drawing up to her face for a short moment before darting away to avoid eye contact. Not that he was trying to be disrespectful, he just didn't like staring into the eyes of others. It made it seem like that were staring back at him, staring with disdane and disappointment. Ever since the boat ride over, he'd simply been paranoid about the way others look at him. However, if he couldn't see them staring, he could assume they weren't... right?
"Huh? Oh... Um... Yeah. Yeah, they are..."
Keeping his nerves in check, the jindo shifted a little where he sat, his gaze on the glass door. though it, he could see his human gesturing with his hands to a rifle behind the counter, obviously having a hard time convincing the clerk to let him buy the thing. Well, he was rather young for a hunter. The jindo had heard other, more experienced hunters say so. Maybe the clerk wasn't sure he could handle it. Well, whatever the deal was, he noticed his human was growing agitated, slamming his handson the counter and raising his voice enough for the dogs outside to hear its muffled cry...
The brute closed his eyes bashfully, grinning a bit at the irony of the subject...
"Well... most of the time..."
((Sorry, that sucked...))
