Stella carried a steady trot down the mountain slope, and her tongue licked over her lips in an uncertain feeling about her surroundings. “What to do, what to do..?” the beauceron female mused, and her trot was reducing to sagging her feet.
She turned her head around mutely, and raised her lips upward in a growl, but she froze when she saw that there really was no one following her.
“Damn this imagination of mine!” she put a curse upon herself, Stella’s tail sagged, and she began to pick of the pace until she reached the tree-line border that was obviously the start of the forest. The bitch felt more welcomed, and she ran more quickly down the slopes. It was then she got a paw pull of thistle, and she released a short and sharp yipe.
This only delayed her of running from her old packlands, so she sat and nibbled at her pad to clean up the blood. When she was finished, it was no more than a faint tingle. So she continued on.

Kysarin crept through the bushs, small body close to the ground. The young female, black pelt with white markings shining gently. Her small head raised slightly, eyes shinning. She was following this she-dog out of boredom.
"Who is this?" She thought, cocking her head slightly. As the female turned around, growling. She ducked under a bush. When the female looked away, she snickered. Being an orphan made her have no real life. Just following others around usually.
Wondering so much. This female looked alone. Stumbling a bit, she rolled out of her hiding spot. Now right behind the female, she let out a nervous noise. Tail voer face, she blew it up, staring wide-eyed at the large female's back.

Ringo had his snout jammed in a sharp tangle of brambles, and believe me, 'comfortable' wasn't exactly the word to describe it. He planted his paws in the dirt to anchor himself and thrust his neck upward. Crackle, snap, and his muzzle was free. But not unscathed. Little scratches tainted his already-messy fur, which was a sleek, black colour.
"Damn this forest!" he growled under his breath and reached up a paw to rub tenderly at his sore maw. Damn that hurt. But it wasn't as if there were any humans that could help him. And even if there were, Ringo would never accept their help.
Shaking a few burrs out of his fur, he staggered back onto the path, worn down from centuries of pounding paws. It was in this forest that the flat-coated retriever's ancestors were bred and raised, and to what? To produce him? Ringo was an embarassment to nature. A rangy, flamboyant mutt, mostly retriever, but with several other oddities thrown into the mix. He fled his home because he was a simple coward, not even staying to protect his brothers and sisters. Wimp. And so he'd spent the two years of his life staying slender and dirty on weak, scrawny prey. He vowed to be more brave, but when would the great Ringo be able to prove himself?
The snap of twigs and paws in the distance alerted him, and Ringo drew himself to his full height, his ears perking somewhat. Ringo swore an oath to himself that he would stop being such a worthless twit. And who knows - maybe he'd prove that today.

Stella moved deeper and deeper into the forest, and this is where she felt safe- she had been here for a year of her life when she was younger and no one from her pack would dare to step one paw into the it because of the Akakabuto legend. None of the pack, including herself, knew he was dead either.
So the beauceron kept trudging along blah blah blah, she already knew it was going to be a boring day. But as long as she was safe, she couldn’t care less. When she had settled in the heart of the forest, she noticed that with the change of the wind came along new scents. And one of them trailed back from the opening of the forest- someone was following her.
The bitch immediately jumped some and her tail raised in her defense. Unsure is the follower was an enemy or a friend, or maybe a mix in-between. “Show yourself! I know you’re here..”

Ringo flinched as the female's sharp voice cut through the silent air, like a knife. Was that meant for me? he wondered. What if she was hostile? What if, as soon as he stepped out, she'd tear out his throat? What if, what if? Ringo suppressed a shudder and attempted to sneak around her and hopefully continue on without her noticing. Fortunately for him, their were many places to hide. Unfortunately, there was a big gap in the shrubs right behind her, so if she turned around as he was going through there, he'd be wide open exposed. Ringo decided to make a run for it, and hopefully she'd pass it over as a trick of the eyes.
The black labrador retriever tensed his legs and sprung forward, his legs pounding through the underbush. Damn he was loud. A deaf newborn would be able to hear him. "Can it get any worse?" he mumbled, and immediately could have slapped himself, for in that brief interlude he tripped over a twig and lost his balance, toppling over with a loud thump in the wide open.
Oh no Ringo, what will you do now?

Stella blinked, and her lips lowered to cover her teeth. What a klutz. He looked to be no harm, but still, this could be an act! She ran over to him with a dominant posture, tail up and her head held higher than his. She placed a “victory” paw on his shoulder, and she waited for him to either submit, give up, or attack her.
“Damn you.. Trying to sneak up on me? You think you’re that smart, eh?” So far, a friendship between the two didn’t look very likely.

Ringo growled and flicked his tail as the dog placed her paw on him. He resented being spoken to like that...but honestly, what's a lab to do? "I'm smarter than SOMEBODY here!" he hissed, cobalt eyes narrowing. He? Being talked to that way? By a GIRL? Aw man, Ringo's self-esteem was shattered. But that didn't mean he'd continue letting her act like that. He attempted to stand up and shrug her paw off his shoulder, but it was pretty heavy. "I'm not doing anything wrong! Lemme go!"

Stella showed her teeth, “You lay on my territory, yes?” That must have been one of the biggest lies that poor bitch had ever told. This dominion used to belong to Akakabuto, other than that any dog could claim it. “Get off.” She growled. And she released him.

Ringo squirmed. This wasn't his idea of fun. "I had no idea this was your territory!" he pleaded. Curse his clumsiness! And then she released him. He jumped to his paws and shook out his coat. "Damnations!" he growled, braver, now that he could fight back if she decided to attack him. "What is your problem?!"

I'm going to have to stop this role-play. Mel, you haven't created a character yet. You may resume once your character's bio is up...

((Also a nice catch on your part. No, Racheal has made no bio. You guys have to create characters before you can role-play them. Just go make the bios and you can start this thread back up when you're done.))
